the other, that, This
Today was pretty good as far as Saturday's go.

Woke up around 8 o'clock. Went back to sleep for another 30 minutes. I had a dream I was having a bake sale in the Art room at Empire. Nobody was buying anything so I got angry and threw my little cookie-cart out the window. It was a pleasant dream. Then I remembered that I was supposed to go to Isaac's house today to help them get ready for their Battle of the Bands audition at 11:30. So at 10 o'clock we went to Noah's first baseball practice. It was exciting. It occurred to me how tall he is compared to all the other kids his age. He's a freakin' beast. After that was over, my dad dropped me off at Isaac's. His band was playing in the garage, which was closed. They couldn't hear the doorbell so I waited until they got done with a song and called Isaac. When I walked in, Justin was waiting around the corner and hugged me. Reid thought it was hilarious. Good for him. So I was their audience for a while, then 1:30 came around and we packed up all the gear and went to Empire for the audition. My job was basically to carry stuff. Easy enough. Isaac had pinched his finger with a microphone stand or something, which almost jeopardized his ability to play the guitar. Almost. He turned out fine. At Empire we unpacked everything and lugged it into the auditorium. Some other band was playing. They sounded good, but they didn't have a vocalist. So it was basically an instrumental band. After they left, we set up and I went to sit in the audience area. They played two songs, and I have to say, they sounded really good. Afterwards Mr. Gypton said that they might want to get bigger amps. It was apparently a little hard to hear Isaac's vocals. I heard them fine, but that was just me apparently. So then Justin left, Isaac and Reid went back to Isaac's house, and the drummer guy (sorry, can't remember his name) took all his stuff back to Isaac's.

I sat at Empire and waited for my dad to pick me up. He brought me some fried zucchini from Carl's Jr. Holy crap, that's like the best food on the face of the earth. Aside from shrimp. And cheese. And Cheez-itz. Anyway, I ate that and we went home. My brother had gone to Target while I was at Isaac's and bought Guitar Hero III. That game is addicting. I'm pretty good at it. On easy. Except for Raining Blood on Slayer. I still can't beat that freakin' song. But I still love it. I can't do medium difficulty because my pinky has absolutely no motor functions in it whatsoever. It just does whatever my ring finger does. That's not good for Guitar Hero. Then my mom made dinner. And then I began writing this about 45 minutes later. Exciting stuff.
